I am 27years old and married having pilonidal sinus from last 3years.Its very painful, having puss and blood discharge, hot tubs gives little relaxation. My doctor asked for a surgery but there are chances for reoccurance.I am planning for a baby also,do it will effect my pragnancy? So I am confused to go for a surgery or not.I have few question regarding it-
Pilonidal sinus is cancerous if not treated?
Is Surgery is the last option?
Any other cure for the same?
Do it will harm my pragnancy?
Please help me out I am really stressed up!!
Thanks

Hi,
I don't know about cancerous potential . But surgery is the last resort and there is no other option as it has recurred . I think it will harm your pregnancy . you have to ask an obstetrician for your coming pregnancy and don't worry you are gonna be fine
