Q: Pill taken late... Condom came off

Hi,

I am on the contraceptive pill "yasmin", and normally take it between 7/9 in the morning. However, yesterday I forgot and didn't take it til about 5pm. I had sexual intercourse that evening and the condom came off. I'm a bit concerned as I'm not sure whether to take an emergency contraceptive pill or not, or would the pill I took late still work?

i was always told you take the pill when you remember. and you can only miss one day. but you have to use backup to be 100% sure.
but dont get too scared, it's a possibility that you wasnt ovulating. be careful next time.
if you always forget there is other kind of birth control that you can take other than pills.
