Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
If you have experienced problems with hormonal contraceptive use previously, you should consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist for further detailed discussion and evaluation. Depo preparations or Implants could be an option that can give you protection, as well as minimize risk of infection. Your gynecologist is the best to decide which method would be good and safe for you based on your health condition and necessity (especially to rule out contraindications). Get started on suitable method as prescribed by your gynecologist (after careful evaluation).
Take care.
