Q: pill effectiveness

this is a weird question, but...

lets say you messed up your last pill pack (missed pills, had vomiting/diarrhea, etc).
after starting a new pack, should you wait seven days before having sex?

Yes. If there was any break in taking the pill you should start on a new pack as if you have never been on birth control before and wait the alloted time- just to be on the safe side.

You can have sex-- just use a back up method like condoms.

yes you probably should use a back up method just to be safe for the first 7 days. missing a few pills alone is bad, but if you get sick shortly after you take a pill (like an hour or 30 minutes) the pill wouldnt have enough time to get into your system. so i would definately suggest an added method just to be on the safe side.
