Q: Pill cause weight gain ?

i have been on the pill 3 years. for each year i have gained half a stone, which i cannot loose no matter what healthy diet excercise etc... my fianee thinks i am constnatly dieting, before i went on the pill my bmi was normal and i was able to loose weight easliy, everyone seems to recommend i come off the pill but im not sure i went on it orignally for extreme period pain which has stopped now since on it. any advise welcome luvsme

hello im sure your boyfriend loves you no matter your size..birth pill can increase weight and as a women i would rather cope with weight gain than endless torture of severe period pains..maybe different type of birth pill change would help. only a suggestion watch for other replys.

i was on a pill and i gained a lot of weight from. the pill i m on now doesnt give me any side effects. it is a low dose combination birth control pill called mircette.
so asked your doctor about low dose b/c or just change your birth control pill to another kind.
