I have diagnosed with phyllodes tumor, benign. What will be the recovery time from surgery? And what kind of scaring can i expect

Most of these tumors are benign, as in your case. Treatment generally involves the surgical removal of the tumor and a margin of normal surrounding breast tissue. Most patients stay home for 3 to 5 days (depending upon the extent of surgery), although I ask patients to avoid heavy lifting or strenuous activities for 3 weeks after surgery.
