For the past couple years i've had this constant build up of Phlem, it seems to get thicker when i drink any milk or anything dairy. I find myself coughing and trying to force the phlem to come out, i am occasionally able to get the build up out and it's really relieving but within a couple minutes it's back. All i want is relief, not to feel this constant build up. It prevents me from singing which i love to do for the few minutes that i can sometimes rid of this phlem, sometimes i can't talk there's so much. It's annoying, uncomfortable, is always lodged and i just want to know, does this mean i need my tonsils removed? do i have a disease? infection? What is it, i would really like some feed back please. I just want relief like everyone else.

hello any build of phlem requires investigation for chest or lung infection..
you don,t mention if your a smoker? i had alot of build up and your more prone to chest infections with a tonsillectomy as it prevents alot of bacteria entering the chest cavity.
i advise you get checked out by your doctor.
