Q: Persistent UTIs and yeast infections

For the past 6 months, I have been dealing with persistent yeast infections, several UTIs and constant urinary urgency. This started 6 months ago when I got a UTI. Since then, I have had many yeast infections, although it could be the same yeast infection that has never gone away. I have tried over the counter creams, antibiotics, and prescription strength creams to no avail. The urinary urgency is uncomfortable and constantly makes me feel like I have a UTI but I have had many tests and they have all came back negative. The urinary urgency is not associated with any frequency or painful urination. I have been seeing a urologist who did a scope which revealed no bladder problems. My urologist is stumped by what could be causing the constant feeling of urgency. He tried Detrol for OAB but that did not help. Does anyone have any suggestions as it has been 6 months of coping with this awful feeling and I dont know where to go from here.

Yeast infection vs. urgency
First of all, please listen carefully because I think we might be able to help each other. I have had a yeast infection for three month and it's not going away either. I think it's partitially due to a weakened immune system but I also have been on Diflucan, Flagyn and three different doses of Diflucan.
My urgency started after I tried Monistat 1. When did your's start?
However, I have been inserting a tampon soaked with yogurt into the vaginal area. There is info on the net of how to do it. That has decreased the yeast a little bit. And as for the urgency, I still have the feeling at times, but when I drink Cranberry juice through out the day, the feeling decreases little by little but it does come back. Basically, my doctor doesn't know why I have urgency either.
