Q: Persistent Perianal abscess

I have had perianal problems for 3 years now. I suspect it is because of over masterbation.I have undergone a surgical drainage once. Every time an ejaculation happens it abscess starts forming. I have gone for a check up, the doctor did a superfical checkup and said there is nothing to worry. I happened to come across articles which described the some symptoms of colon cancer. I suffer, occasional consipation(happens one/twice in a month) and loose motion(happens once a month). Is recurring perianal abscess and these stool characteristics symptom of cancer, should i go for any further tests?

Is the abscess palpable?
Have you been diagnosed with some inflammatory bowel disease?
Do you get purulent (pus) drainage from the anal canal or from the surrounding perianal skin?

Most of the times, diagnosis of perianal abscess is obvious and easily done with only physical exam and no further tests are needed.
One of the symptoms of perianal abscess is constipation (inability to have a bowel movement, or a painful bowel movement)

I am so glad you replied me, I whole heartedly thank you for the same.
This is my problem, unfortunately no doctor i visited is believing me, they say this is a misunderstanding of mine to be the reason.
every time an ejaculation happens there is abscess forming after a day or two and i can feel the portion near the anus swollen and warm. I start feeling feverish.
I only have the problem when ejaculation happens or i keep my leg on a raised surface such as a table.
then 80% of time i develop indigestion and loose motion.
could ejaculation cause perianal abscess? i have undergone a surgery, doc told me its a sure cut solution to the problem, but it still happens.. I feel so ruined.
Some times when i get constipation due to some food(like honey) the abscess doesn't really form too much.

You are welcome!

Do you usually feel severe and continuous throbbing pain that may worsen with walking and straining?

Do you find difficult to urinate when the abscess is formed?

Where is the abscess located exactly?

Have you noticed decreased amount of semen?

I can feel the throbbling pain and it is usually noticed when i sit. I need to make a lot of adjustments to the posture before i am confortable.

urination is almost normal except that there is a bad burning sensation,I have learnt to manage this by drinking too much water(much more than normal) until the urine is almost colorless

its right above the anus, towards the front

I try to avoid ejaculation, when it occurs(naturally) it is not in decresed amount.

Besides the surgery, perianal abscess tends to reoccur.
About your theory that the abscess is brought up anytime you ejaculate, talk with your doctor for possible fistulas (communication channels) between prostate or urethra and your anal and perianal region (anal fistulas are a complication of anorectal abscesses).

Best wishes!
