I am worried that I may have contracted HIV due to recent sex with a out call prostitute. I wore a condom and even checked for breakage the next day because I was so worried. The condom looked fine. However, I have had a persistent cough for about a month now and feel a bit fatigued. I am hoping that I am just one of those worried well cases, but it is very stressful. I find it is consuming my mind at this point. What are the real chances that I could have contracted HIV from this woman. This is also not the first time I have been with a prostitute, but I have never had sex with one without a condom. Tell me im fine, and tell me please why I might have this cough that wont go away?

it's not hiv because the symptoms dont show up that quick

Right, HIV symptoms take months and even years to show up.Some people have no symptoms until they have AIDS. Get tested if you have any concerns..

Cough
Dont worry. Cough is not the only symptom of HIV. Get your blood tested for HIV.
