Hi,
For the last month, I've been experiencing a constant "light show" in my vision.
It is difficult to describe- it is as if I stared at thousands and thousands of little lights, then looked away and the after-image remains- lots of little sparkles/stars/lights in my vision. It is equal in both eyes, is present with eyes open and closed, and remains steady in severity.
At times, the "lights" can obscure vision, like when the green turn signal comes on, or when I pull a menu down on my computer. But by moving my eyes, I can see.
When someone is "backlit," I can't even tell if their eyes are opened or closed, it's very dark.
Bright blue and green objects (my lawn, my daughters' eyes) seem unusually bright/flourescent.
I've seen my opth. twice, and he says all seems 20/20 and just fine. I'm seeing a neuro-opth next week.
If you can help me get some learning in any way, I'd appreciate it- websites, similar experiences, etc. I don't even know what to call the symptoms. Any help is appreciated. Thanks,
Eric
EDIT: As I do more research- this may be "visual snow" or "persistant migraine aura"

I also had that when I was younger. I had a time when I had a migraine practically every day. I was hospitalized because they were thinking that it was something more serious. But after that incident, for a long time I had a constant aura. Not nearly as bad as an "active" migraine, but just enough that I could see it and it drove me crazy. It lasted for a long time. I don't notice it now, but I have more serious problems now to I might just be noticing it.
