Hi

With the exception of the occasional month I get my period every fortnight. March 31, April 16 and now May 1. They are heavy usually with PMS moods, bloating and cramping. I am 44 years of age, hormone level tests indicate I am not in menopause. A colposcopic exam in November could find no cause for the irregular periods (biopsy clear). I was referred due this problem and a lesion on my uterus seen by my GP duing an exam.

This condition has a negative impact on my life due to work sick days and holidays spoiled by period illness.

It has been suggested a 'coil' may help and I will try that next. I am concerned that something has perhaps been missed.
