I have not been sexually active, but for some reason, my period came very late. During the past month I have experienced bloating. The past week I have been extremely stressed out, and I began to have many cramps, nausea, dizziness, and headaches. Today I got my period, and it is usually extremely heavy the first day, but the bleeding is light although my cramps are extremely painful. Is this from stress and should I worry?

Sounds like the weird period could be caused by stress. It doesn't matter how regular a woman has been in the past; at some point, she will have an irregular period due to stress, weight gain, weight loss, pregnancy, normal hormone fluctuations, going on birth control, going off birth control... As long as your cycle goes back to normal within a couple of months, there is nothing to worry about.
