I just started taking Mononessa 2 weeks ago due to irregular periods. I hadn't had a period in 2 months other than some spotting here or there. Since I had nothing to base starting the Mononessa on (i.e. at the end of a period) I started taking it the day I was perscribed it. I take it every day around 9 am with my breakfast. The past two days I noticed I was spotting (brownish colored), and today I started what looks like a light normal red period, I still have 2 weeks of pills to get through!
I know there isn't any other issue, since prior to starting the pill we did several exams, including a pelvic ultrasound to make sure everything was fine.
Is it okay that I am bleeding early just starting this birth control? Should I continue to take the pill as normal? I hate to bother my doctor if this is normal, so I guess I thought I would go ask people who would have the best knowledge with this, other women Smile

I appreciate any insight.
Thanks!
Trisha
