Hi,

Welcome to the ehealthforum. I am glad to help you out. The possibility of pregnancy can’t be ruled out as if you have been having unprotected sexual intercourse and the chances of pregnancy are definitely always high. I’ll suggest doing the serum HCG test for the confirmation of pregnancy. This is a much more sensitive test compared to the urine test and can be done without waiting for the missed periods. What you are suffering from is called oligomenorrhoea. This can result from stress, excessive exercise, hormonal disturbances or thyroid disorders. Please do consult a gynaecologist for the same.

I sincerely hope this information helps. Take care.
