I switched from one pill to another in the middle of a pack, which the dr. said i could do if i absolutely had to. now i am on another one. it's been about 3 months and i keep getting my period at the wrong time, not during the placebo pills. it has been very heavy and lasts about 7 days. what should i do? should i start the next pack at the normal time or after i get my period?

Stay on your pills, don't change the way you take them - so start your next pack at the normal time. Sometimes it happens when you switch pills, talk to your doctor about changing your pills to something else if these are bothering you. There are tons of different kinds of hormonal birth control.
