Q: period or cysts?

Ok so here the deal, I haven't had my period in over about 8 months, When it was about up to three months we went to the doctor nurse

and she said it is because I am overweight, Embarassed

which I am. But now I think It is a case of ovarian cysts, first off I am prone to cysts, I've already had three... My mom had ovarian cysts, I'm excessivly hairy, sweaty, overweight, and have acne, and yes as you can see I have body Issues.. A Lot of them rainbow

. So if you have an opinion on what it could be please help me. My mom and I are very close but she simply doesn't know what it could be...

Well, first cysts are normal for women in their 20's...but you need a diagnosis! I'd suggest that you make an appointment with your OB GYN as soon as possible. Cysts are fairly benign, but you want to know if it's PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) or something possibly worse.

It's not normal to have such a delay in your menstrual cycle.

yep! but that beacuse I had a yeast infection, my result came out normal but it weird because Im getting the heavy snotty stuff which im guessing is me ovulating heavly but still no period...

Yep --- the white clear discharge normally comes in the middle of my cycle and is a sign that I'm near or just past ovulating. It's kind of gooey. You can safely surmise that you period will arrive in the next 14 days, or so. Let a doctor know if it's later.
