Hello, I'm a 14yrld Girl at 52kg and 171cm tall Smile I have a concern in which I haven't had my period for 5months now. I have recently reached my goal weight from losing 13kgs (woohoo) which I lost within those 5-ish months but in that time of changing my eating lifestyle (which I did the healthy safe way) I haven't had my period and that worried me. So judging by that observation, I'm guessing it's to do with my weightloss but perhaps not? As strange as it may sound, I just want my period back :L It's concerning not having it so yeah Smile I'd appreciate your help and advice Smile thankyou

Congratulations on losing the weight. That is great!

When did you start to menstruate, and what were your cycles like before it stopped ( how long, how regular,)?

In the first year or two, your periods can be very irregular and come and go. You may not even ovulate every cycle.

With that said, it is still the safest option to see your doctor to make sure everything is ok. You also need to increase your calcium intake (to make up for the low estrogen levels) to strengthen your bones. Especially at your age.

Take care!
