i recently started taking birth control. I am on alesse and during my first cycle on the 11th day I began to get light bleeding, definently not as heavy as my usual period, but heavier than spotting. This continued for the rest of my cycle but i figured everything would become normal when it was time to have my regular period and then I could start fresh when I started my second cycle of the pill. I am now on day 2 of what i supposed to be my period but it is still the same as it was on the pill, very light but continuos, what does this mean? Is there any way to stop it?

Lollipop, This happens to some women on some pills. Sometimes it will stop by itself and sometimes your doctor need to prescribe a pill with a different hormonal makeup.

If this continues, see your doctor.

Best of luck!
