its completly normal, you will feel it through your WHOLE pregnancy, its your uterus stretching because your little baby is growing in there
try not to worry unless they become severe or you start bleeding then you need to go to your doc asap because you could be miscarrying (not even nessiciarly then)
if your still worried call your doctor, they should be able to put your mind at ease, around 15 weeks with my daughter i had serious cramps and i went in and i had an infection so it could be something as simple as that....im sorry im making no sence im sleepy lol
hope you have a healthy wonderful 9 months and try not to worry to much, you have plenty of time for that after you have that baby lol
I'll be ten weeks tomorrow and I too am having period-like cramps. I've had a miscarriage previously so I jump at every little twinge of pain. Everyone tells me to calm down, its perfectly normal. When the cramping gets moderately painful I hop in a warm bath and it usuallly takes the pain right away. Good luck and congrats on your pregnancy.
I am 23 weeks, I had the same feeling, it's just the muscles or uterus stretching. When you get your period it's your uterus that makes the pain. Now that a baby is growing there the same pain occurs. As long as there is no spotting and the cramps are not extreme your fine.
I have d & c during Jan 14, when the baby was 7 week, we never had intercourse after that for 3 months, last month every thing was ok & we tried for baby. I had my period on April 19, but now am feeling period cramps, am i not pregnant?
I'm just about 10 weeks pregnant and I get period like cramping off an on throughout the day. Sometimes i'm completely convinced that i'm about to get my period till I come to my senses and remember i'm pregnant. Unless its extremely painful and/or accompanied by bleeding I was told not to worry
I just found out 3 days ago that I am 9 weeks along and I have been having cramps more than normal lately. I don't normally get bad cramps when Im on my period so I was wondering if these are normal. Some of the cramps make me stop in my tracks and sit until it goes away. Is that normal?
I am 10 weeks and 3 days pregnant with my first baby. I had cramps from the very begining and the dr and midwife both said it was normal and it was just stretching pains. They went away at about 6 weeks but they are now back, but I recently found out I have thrush. Another common side effect of pregnancy apparently. But again I am told that it is all normal so hope this puts peoples minds at rest because I know it helps to know I'm not on my own.
I am 8 weeks pregnant, and get mild to mod period-like cramps on and off; some days more than others. But I too, have been told its simply the uterus stretching and though its very hard not to worry about an impending miscarriage, you have to try and trust that this is normal and be positive. Thats what I'm trying to do. Congrats to all fellow pregnant women!
I am just early in my pregnancy(7weeks) and I have had two miscarriage in the past year and a half, I have been having the same cramps off and on and I'm so scared of it happening again any advise as to stop worrying so much?
I am the same way I am 17 and ended up pregnant on a accident . I have mild cramps & Nasuea through out the day . I'm about 8 weeks & 2 days it's my first baby and I'm pretty nervous . Still haven't told anybody Buht my boyfriend .
I am 10 weeks and 3 days now and I was getting cramps at about 6 weeks. These stopped but now I am 10 weeks I have them again only they are much milder. The midwife told me early on cramps are normal due to stretching.
