i posted before about how i thought i might be pregnant and stopped my pill but had no period, well yesterday i got that lovely gift.

so i was wondering, why was i having all those symptoms? headaches, nausia at night, lower stomache kinda hard, peeing alot more than usual.

can you still be pregnant, but have a period just out of the blue?
i read somewhere that it can happen to some woman.

is this true? or can it happen sometimes.
should i still test, and waste my money? or no.

It wouldn't be a waste of money to take a pregnancy test when you think you are pregnant. It would be money well spent.

Women never get their period while pregnant. Some women experience bleeding, but its not menstruation. If you think you are pregnant, then take a test to be sure. If you don't believe the test results, then schedule an appointment for a blood test for more accurate results.

How long were you on the pill?

i've been on the pill for about 10 months.

i don't take placebo pills, and i just start a new pack instead of taking the placebo pills. medical reasons.

but i havnt taken my acutal pill for 5 days now, and got my period yesterday.

Well, that makes sense that you'd have some bleeding if you just stopped taking your pills after ten months straight.

When did you start feeling symptoms? Take a pregnancy soon with first morning urine soon. That way you can know for sure. Just remember to use a back up method if you are going to have sex and aren't really into the idea of a baby yet.

i started feeling and noticing symptoms about a week ago, and had unprotected sex on december 29 or the 30th. and before that alls i have marked down is having sex on decemeber 10th, wich was without a condom also :/ (i know weird, i mark down the days i have sex Razz) i might have done it a little after that, but i dont really remember and didnt mark it down. i had unprotected sex 4 days ago, wich was 3 days before my period, and i didnt have any bc in my system.

If you've been taking your birth control pills, then whether you used a condom or not it wasn't unprotected sex. You take birth control to prevent pregnancy. Condoms make it less risky, but they aren't really needed as long as you've been taking your pills.

You need to wait at least 2 weeks after sex to test for pregnancy. If you feel that you were pregnant from sex on Dec. 10, then you are good to test. But you will need to wait for when you had sex 4 days ago. Just because you feel pregnant, doesn't mean you are pregnant. Do not have anymore unprotected sex.

I honestly have no idea, but just because you think you may be be pregnant, doesn't mean its okay to not use any sort of birth control from that momment on. It's ok you stopped using hormonal birth control, but not ok that you're going unprotected now.

Use condoms for another two weeks, then take a pregnancy test. Out of everything, I would think you were most at risk when you had sex 4 days ago.

Missing pills and taking them at different times makes it hard for your body to maintain a certain level of homornes. Not only does this put you at greater risk for pregnancy, but it can make some negative side effects to birth control pills more frequent and more noticable-- they are very similar to pregnancy and pms symptoms.

Test two weeks after you last had sex.

Any brand will work just fine.
