Q: period but pregnancy symptoms

Im just wondering if i could be pregnant..
I know its unlikely because i have my period but i feel really different this time, and dont know if im just making myself believe i am because id really like a baby.
I started my period 3 days ago and it has been the same blood flow as normal but the night i got it, i couldnt sleep at all because i had such bad cramping, nothing like before. I also seem to have developed a little bit of a belly and i am quite a thin person( only weighing 58kg currently ).
I also seem to be suffering quite bad reflux/indigestion/heartburn type pains, this has been going on for about a week.
I have done a pregancy test at home and it came back negative but that was the night before my last period started, could that have effected it..
If anyone could maybe just give me there opinions that would be great..

I don't think you are pregnant. I know that you can psych yourself into symptoms of pregnancy and your period can be late. If you have a normal flow with your period then it is pretty safe to say you are not pregnant.

take another test....

If you still think you might be pregnant, you should really take another test. Foods you eat can also affect urine samples, so even a cheap blood test would tell you for sure. Especially if you drink or anything, it is always better to just be positive.

Not wanting to scare anyone, but my sister had her period halfway though her pregnancy, and then found out that she was 4 and a half months pregnant... she only weighed about 95 pounds, so it took that long for her to realize that the hardened lump on her belly wasn't just a consequence of college parties.
Luckily, the baby was completely healthy Smile

well all i can say is go to your doctor for a check up and tell them what u r felling i hope you find out soon i had normal preiods though my first pregnacey on my son who is now 4 so it is possible good luck love xxx

am i pregnant please help

i ad sex on da 21st may i was fine intill around 3 weeks after this when i developed symptoms such as constant eating feeling sick tierd and faint about a week later i got very bad heartburn by this time i was 5 weeks late i did two pregnancy tests but both came back negetive i then went to my doctor and he just said try not to think about it (rubbish i no) i am still feeling sick and i am slim and people are starting to notice a bump and asking me if im pregnant i have noticed this my self and it is very hard.I am ten weeks late and have been getting like stabbing pains in my tummy which come on and of.today i have been bleeding but its not really enough to call it a period and i still feel pregnant could i be ???

Well what i think you should do is go to the doctors for a pregnancy test .Doctors or more then less accurate to tell if you could be pregnant or not.Some doctors may ask to do an ultra sound and see what is going on.My advice to you is to get an ultrasound because then they can see if you not only are pregnant but have something else .

yes but my doctors are rubbish they wouldnt a pregnancy test let alone a ultra sound i just want to no now im 10 weeks on wednesday nd i am eather pregnant or there is something wrong i am also needing the wee every hour but this is not due to infection as i already checked this out.Do you think im pregnant what eles could this be

i guess maybe you could see if you could find another doctor to see, or else try and find a local family planning clinic or something like that maybe, because you obviously need to find out. Or just go to your doctors and say you would like a blood test, and well basically demand one and say that not knowing what is going on is majorly stressing you out, so it would be benifical to your well being to just check please.
