Q: period and lump

Hello, I'm 43 and have been having irregular periods. I've recently noticed that in my groin area on the inside of my thigh just below my vagina, I have a lump. Should I be concerned? I have had ovarian cysts in the past but they have apparently gone away.

Please advise how I should proceed and if I should go to a gyno or other specialist.
