Q: period after plan b

Okay, exactly a month ago from this upcoming weekend, my boyfriend and I had an accident where the condom burst. I had taken Plan B right away, both pills as directed. A few days later, the condom burst AGAIN (we fixed this problem by switching brands) but I was told not to take plan B again, because I just took it a little over a day before. So this all happened in the time span of a weekend. The first monday of the next week, I was put on birth control (Lutera) and I had started it the Monday after.

My period normally falls on this week of the month (today is the 24th, and I would have got my period anywhere between the days of the 21st through the 24th). Should I wait another week for my period to come, or can I rule it out? It has been a month, and I was told that the hormones from the Lutera and the Plan-B would alter my period. Should I have gotten my period by now? When can I expect it? Should I purchase an at-home pregnancy test?

Please help me, thank you.

You can get a home pregnancy test, if it has been a month since the broken condom, a test would be accurate.
