I got my period back today! yes Lol...I know that's kind of a weird thing to be happy about, but I was worried that after my D&C in March it would never come back! I'm hoping it stays as regular as it was before I got pregnant the last time...it would be so great if I could be pregnant again soon! I'm trying to stay positive, but at the same time, not overly-hopeful...I know I probably won't get as lucky as I did the last time & get pregnant the first month of trying...but sometime within the next several months would be amazing! Very Happy

Baby dust to all of those here who need it!! 2thumbs

Thanks, guys! Very Happy

Heather, I had been temping after the D&C, but I got frustrated when I didn't appear to be O'ing and gave up. I've started again now though, since good old AF is back in town. yes

Hmmm...
Me too ladies!!! I was 11 weeks when it was discovered that I had a missed miscarriage (the baby measured 8 weeks with no heartbeat). I tried for 2 weeks to have a natural miscarriage but couldnt take the emotional pain of it all. I had a D & C March 26th...I''m still waiting for AF. My husband and I have had unprotected sex since 2 weeks after my procedure. I am perfectly healthy biologically and they didnt find anything worng with me that would have caused the m/c. Anyways, is there a chance I could be pregnant?? I tested a week ago (got a negative), but I dont know when I o''d or when my hcg baselined...help!!!

No period after D&C
I am in the same boat. I had a D&C on March 26 after an incomplete miscarriage and I have not had a period. Its been 5 and a half weeks since my D&C. I ovulated 2 weeks ago, and could have tried then but was too scared in case my body was not ready. I am 37 and just cant bear the thought of waiting for weeks and weeks before I try again. I have seen some posts that have been months. My m/c was my first pregnancy. I am seeing a fertility specialist next week to find out what I can do to get things going.

Had D&C, 5 weeks later no period and faint positive on a HPT
I had a missed miscarriage and a D&C on April 22, 2010. My husband and I was told to wait 3 weeks before being intimate....which we did wait exactly 3 weeks. I still haven't gotten my period, but took a HPT yesterday and got a faint positive! I am excited and worried.. since I didn't have a regular cycle yet. Today is a holiday, so couldn't call my Dr. but calling tomorrow. I am sort of in shock because it took us about 1 year to get pregnant before. I wonder....could I be pregnant or is it just that my HCG levels haven't reached zero yet...5 weeks later????

DNC and HCG level and pregnancy
it very well can be cause your HCG level has not reached 0 yet. Hasn't your doctor been making you get blood tests till it reaches 0. Mine should be 0 next blood test cause it was so low the last one. It is 3 weeks since DNC.

No Period After D&C
I too had a missed miscarriage at 11 weeks, fetus died at 8 weeks. I had the D&C 10 weeks 1 day ago, and have still not had my first post-D&C period. The doctor did an ultrasound, and my uterus does not appear to be close to menstruation (not thickening), so he took blood and is running tests for HCG, FSH, estradiol, estrogen, progesterone and thyroid. I am 40 and anxious to get the cycle back to try again.
