Q: Period a week early

I have been on oral contracpetives for a couple of years now and have been regular since the start, every month my period starts when my placebo pills are scheduled to be taken. I set an alarm on my cell phone so that I remember to take it at the same time everyday. This cycle I am a week early and cramping more than usual. Is this just a fluke this month and no big deal? Should I finish this months pack of pills or go ahead and start next months pack on Sunday. Thanks!

Yep, just continue taking your pills same as normal and start the next pack on time.

If you keep having problems, then speak with your gyno to see if you need to be on another pill.

Most women need at least a month to get back on track. Your body just needs to regulate itself

Good luck ttc!
