How do I know if my perineal stitches have burst?? I had my baby about 2 and a half weeks ago and when i sit down it kind of burns and feels funny

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
If you suspect the perineal stitches to be burst then the only way to confirm is go with an examination done by your gynecologist/obstetrician to see if they are burst and need fixing. There will be some amount of pain and burning sensation when you sit and move. Look out for signs of infection like increasing pain, pus discharge and swelling in the area. Do warm sitz baths twice a day, it will help in relieving the pain.
