As a child I had a very tight foreskin. As I got into my teens it became impossible to retract the foreskin and when I started to have sex the foresking tore. It would heal quickly but than in a few years it began inserting itself on the glan. Now I am over 50 and the forskin is attached to about half the glans. Sex offers little stimulation for me as there's very little sensitivity. The foreskin is very think around the tip of the glans and it has patches of white around the rim.

This is the first time I've shared this. Any ideas?

Hello! One of my best friends had the exact same problem. In the end, when he was 31, he went to his doctor and had to be referred to hospital to have a circumcision. It was all rather painful at the time but now he is free of problems and his sex life has improved greatly.

I know it's embarrassing because I hate going to the doctor for my smear tests but I just tell myself they've seen loads of bits and aren't fussed by mine. Just do it - see your doctor. You probably need a circumcision which I know isn't what a man wants to hear but it'll be worth it when you're having great sex again! Wink

Good luck!

Actually, there is alot you can do without circumcision. On your own, you can manually retract the foreskin just to the point that it starts to hurt, but not so painfull you cant handle it.. Do that frequently, and it will start to help. If thats not enough for you, or you want more or faster results you GP can give you a steroid cream that you will rub on the foreskin and it will allow you to retract the skin after some time of using it. I dont know how it works, but it does work. Both of those methods, although not instant results like circumcision will allow you to keep your foreskin. I would much rather have my foreskin, and have problems with it for some time than have it cut off, as mine was at birth. Just go see your doc and hopefully you can keep it.
