Q: Penis pain - tip sensitive
asked by: DoctorQuestion on March 31st, 2009
One week ago, during an erection the tip of my penis hurt like there was a rock there and during sex only pain.
Since then the tip, around the opening, has been sensitive, to varying degrees, and always noticable against my underwear.
What could be the cause? What should I do?

The symptoms you reported might be related to penile inflammation. You might want to check if there is redness present, too. Whether this condition was caused by the usual sexually transmitted diseases can not be told.
You might want to visit your family doctor for urine culture and for urethral swab if needed, to determine the exact bacteria that caused this condition and the most effective treatment.
