I have recently had a chronic yeast infection I believe due to antibiotics for a throat infection. I did not take anything like Diflucan to help, I tried to eat a yogurt a day and finally had to buy Monistat because I was having discharge and pain due to infection. This has been over the last 4 weeks. My boyfriend noticed discharge from his penis today and was afraid he had an STD. We have had sex before my symptoms became severe and after. I am on birthcontrol so we did not use a condom. I have not had any other partners. I thought i had heard you could pass a yeast infection back and forth. He has also recently been in contact with someone who has a staff infection on their leg. I know we need to go to the Dr. but this is very stressful for the weekend as you can imagine. Thank you.
