Hello, i am a 32 year old lady, i was married for 8 years, then divorced, never ever got pregnant and not that i was trying.
I have been having irregular periods ever since i started with my menses at the age of 13,
The longest i have gone without a period is 3 months.
I was admitted in hospital last year for an abdominal pain,i was unable to retain any fluid and the Dr said an ovarian cyst had ruptured.
I went for quarterly scans and i was told i had PCOS, and that my right ovary was swollen, the Drs did no give me any medication but put me on Yasmin, i felt a bit better but deceided to go for a second opinion to anohter Dr.
After yet another pelvic scan, the new Dr said i had a huge mass 7cm large on my right ovary and perhaps it was bleeding inside, an immidiate lapratomy was called for.
The dr said the mass was everywhere in the bowels in the tube, in the intestines, she took it all of and cut of a large chunk of my right ovary and took off the right fallopean tube as well. The GOOD news is that i dont have cancer, but they said it have Pelvic TB.

I have asked to start weekely treatments for a year. I have also been assure that pelvic TB is 100% curable and that after it is cured. Dr will further do a dye test to check if the existing fallopean tube is blocked and if can start a family.

I was wondering if there was anyone out there who was going or has been thru the same traumatic experiece as me. I live in the Middle East and there are no support groups arround

I have no clue how i picked up this TB virus, i also want to know why did the virus attack me in the pelvic region and why not the chest?

Please is there someone out there whom i can talk to?

I have been surfing and surfing the internet trying to find asnwers and yes i will talk to my Dr but i need to speak to people out there who have been thru what i am going thru now

Thank you for your help
Bless...

Pelvic TB
Hi
We have been married for 2years & as my wife could not conceive, she went thru infertality treatment which did not work so at last to confirm ourself got leproscopy done, then it was reveled that she has pelvic TB, & was asked for 6-months course of AKT3 2months & AKT2 4-months, astonishingly in 2nd month of treatment she conceived. and had to stop further treatment.

I would better advise you visit Gupte hospital in Poona Maharastra India for both infertality/TB treatment,

Wish you get well soon.

I have written on behalf of my wife, as we to stay in GCC where its difficult to get medicines.

If you would have got chest TB, you could not travel to middle-east as this is easily recognized by X-Ray

Regards
