I've had pelvic pain moving from left to right & all over for 3 months now. Now I'm having alot of acid. I had an ultrasound to see if I had a herna (I had strained myself helping to remove a small tree) but I don't. Now they want to do a colonostomy (I had one 2 1/2 yrs ago with no polps) & and MRI of the abdomen. The pain is not getting any better. Could an ulcer cause this?

Some of the health conditions that can lead to lower left abdominal pain are bowel cancer, bowel obstruction, constipation, diverticulitis, Crohn’s disease, hernia, irritable bowel syndrome, kidney infection, ovarian cysts, muscle rectus sheath haematoma.
Yes, peptic ulcer can be one of the contributing causes for acid reflux disease.
