I usually have around a 29/30 day cycle, and im 4 days late this month, ive been having period pains, headaches and mood swings the past week or so, but still no sign of my period. I took a hpt today and it said negative, did i take it too early?

Hello,

Welcome to ehealthforum

If you had unprotected intercourse then possibility of pregnancy is high.Urine HPT may not show up so early and can take up to 20 days after a missed period to give accurate results.
Wait for a week for the periods to start and if they are missed consider getting a blood test done and visit a Gynaecologist for evaluation.

Take Care!
