Hey

Id really like some help! im 20, in a lovely long term relationship with my 25 yr old boyfriend. Recently the subject of children has come up however im really worried about the chances of me actually being able to have a baby are, I have PCOS (ive been quite lucky with symptoms, ive not put on weight and im not hairy like i was told i was become when it was diagonsed in Spring 06) and am on the pill to regulate my periods (though i haven't had one for a few months, so im worried its got worse) also i have ulcerative colitis which was diagonsed in summer 08; this is usually flared up and although it doesn't bother me because im used to it, ive heard it can affect my chances of pregnancy and miscarriage.
I would ask my GP but im scared he will laugh at me!
Thanks you for your help!
Katy

Women who have PCOS appear to have an increased risk of miscarriage, pregnancy-induced hypertension, gestational diabetes, and premature delivery.

I also have PCOS and UC - so you're not alone! Have you looked into changing your diet?
