iam 20 yrs old,marriage last year,iam very eager to conceive.i went to the dr as my periods were nt regular after all the test in scanning it came sugestive ploynetic ovaries.doctor said it is essential stage of pcos and gave me ovacare tab for 3 months n duphaston tab from 20th to 25th of my menstual cycle.its my 2 month of course.she told i will get my periods witin a week after duphaston is over but my days increased but after 3 days i got periods.iam very worried is my tablets ok what food should i eat,wt will make me pregnant sooon.i want to conceive fast.

you should probably monitor your periods for the next few months the goal is to get them regular so that you ovulate. It may take some time but it will happen. Foods, just do what you are supposed to do eat healthy exercise. I was diagnosed with pcos at 16 was on the pill to regulate my period for a few years changed my lifestyle ate better worked out took vitamins and stopped taking the pill just because the one I was on was expensive about a year ago. Still had regular periods and accidentally got pregnant 8 weeks ago.

Hi i really need help i have pcos im 22 i have had 3 miscarages im really worried i want to become pregnat soon i dnt now how or wat to do first to become pregant i already lost alot Of weight trying to do wateva it takes please some one help me out wit some advice..

Hi,
PCOS is some times associated with infertility. In PCOS there is elevated LH reversal of the LH/FSH ration as LH becomes higher than FSH. The low levels of FSH allow many follicles to develop but without ever maturing even one follicle. Thus numerous follicles are present in ovaries and once they become ataractic they form cysts, hence the ovaries appear as polycystic. Since the follicles do not mature, they do not release the egg, hence, lack of ovulation is seen. The most likely cause of infertility is anovulation or lack of ovulation. Ovulation can be induced with ovulation drugs [clomid & metformin], by gonadotropins or correction of insulin resistance. The final option for achieving pregnancy in patients with PCOS related infertility is IVF i.e Invitro Fertilization with Gonadotropins.

i have a problem of pcos from 2 months...At present doctor prescribed me a tablet of ovares 25mg..what is the use of it??I want to get pregnant early..is this helpful for pregnancy??It is a contraceptive pill??Please reply me...
