I was diagnosed 5yrs, ago with pcos okay I did my research on it but the thing is I have been with my husband for 20yrs having unprotected sex and never not once I have been able to get pregnant. I understand with having pcos can cause me not to have children my obgyn only put me on birth controls that do the trick, I even dropped weight like I was recommended still nothing. I don't think it's my husband because he have a son that was conceived just before we got together. Asking for help before I get to old #38yrs old/ Chicago il
You need to see your doctor. PCOS cause infertility by changing your hormones and preventing ovulation. Your doctor will have to determine if you are ovulating or not. If not, there is hormonal treatments that can attempt to make you ovulate.
It is fairly easy to see if you are ovulating by looking at the ovaries and follicles with an ultrasound.
