i was diagnosed on april 2006 as PCOS after 4 months of amenorhea.taking Diane35 medicine for 28 months (ethinyl estradiol cyproterone acetate). i went for liposuction operation on august 2008 for a lipodystrophy in my back, then developed DVT in my left calf despite abcense of any other precipitating or predisposing factor but taking Diane35. i'd taken clexane 80 for 5 days & on marevan (warfaren) 3mg daily monitoring my INR every 10 days. now i didn't menestruat for 2 months with relapsing hairsutism .i don't know when to stop marevan or take what for my menestrual irregularities that's not increasing risk of DVT &it's complications???

you can deveelop a deep vein thrombosis via meds such as birth control pills. Also if your family has a certain gene, as well as being inactive or bed ridden for a certain period of time. Some systoms of dvt are pain swelling , reddness etc in the affected area. Dvt can be fatal if the clot breaks of and travels to the lungs causing a pulmonary embolism.
