Q: pcos and trying to get pregnant

I was diagnose wit pcos a year ago, and been tryin to get pregnant for 2 years now,I took clomid wit methaforn for 6 months,didn't work for me, does anybody know what's the next step to take, I know my doc said we'll start the shots soon,does anybody know how they work?when to take?has anyone here got pregnant wit these shots? R they painfull?help please! I know nothing abt them, and I am afraid they won't work! Does anybody know how much that treatment cost wit no insurance or even wit?

Treatment of PCOS is long-lasting and requires great patience.

If you don't succeed to provoke ovulation with Clomid (clomiphene) you can try with FSH and LH injections. This procedure can be done only in institutions specialized for assisted reproductive techniques ("in vitro" fertilization).

Pain won't be a big problem if you try.
