Hi everyone,

I am a 23 year old female. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for almost 11 months. I went of birth control in May 2007. I went to the doctor 4 months later because I hadn't had a period since I went off birth control. I was diagnosed with PCOS after having an ultrasound. My doctor started me on Metformin. I took Metformin for 5 months, never getting a period. My doctor gave me progestorone to force my body to menstruate since it had been 9 months w/o one. I did have a period after taking progestorone. I am having a follow up appointment with my doctor and I wanted to know what other medications or procedures I should look into. Does any one have any ideas I can discuss with my doctor?

Sorry to hear about your ttc problems. I have PCOS too. My dr told me to follow a low carb (like South Beach) diet, and I have to take clomid in order to ovulate. So far, no babies, but I think we are on the right track.

I suffer from PCOS too, and my little girl will be turning four in July. I never used any form of contraception in my life, and only fell pregnant when I was 30.
All I did was to change my diet to raw foods (and raw foods only), and 7 months later I conceived. I was hard, but believe me: it was worth it! My little princess is the light of my life.
Good luck to you. You are in my prayers.
