i have just not long been diagnosed with polysystic ovary syndrome. after my first appointment with the doctor i was sent for tests and a scan. i recieved my results in a telephone conversation with my doctor. she left a prescription for metformin at the surgery desk for me with a downloaded piece from the internet about my condition. it had alot about infertility and i immediatly assumed i am infertile. a week ago i poured my heart out to a male friend as i desperatly wanted another child (i already have a 2 year old) we ended up sleeping together unprotected and ive had alot of pelvic pain since. this is the 1st time ive slept with someone for over a year and have never experienced this before.im worried as to whats going on! do you think i need to make an appointment and sit down with my doctor as i know very little about pcos. or is there any advice you could give me please. i feel like ive been let down abit and my emotions are rollercoastering.
