pattella femerol pain

hi im basically a prisoner in my house,unless im going the doctors or hospital,ive been unable to walk for the past 4 mths,apart from around the house in a great deal of pain,iv had numerous bloodtests and mri and thy come back fine but above my left knee is like a hard mass,its also started going in my other knee now,i cant put my left leg straight unless im sitting or lying down,the physio therepist says its this pattella problem but im not convinced my legs feel so weak ive also got swelling between my knuckles and pain in my left elbow oh and my knees go a horrible purple colour.does any one else have these symptoms with pattella femerol pain????????????and i have a pain in my left arm muscle all the time and it feels larger than my other arm muscle.ive tryed anti inflamatorys and the dont get rid of the inflamation,will anything get rid of the swelling any ideas............... thanx
