Q: Paternity Issue

My LMP right now puts me at 18 weeks exactly. I went for an ultrasound and she told me that the babys measurements were matching up to the 18 weeks. Also, on my 13 week ultrasound the measurement was off by one day(GA at 12w6days). Is there anyway for it to be off by two weeks?? Or this early in pregnancy, its pretty accurate? Should I assume that I conceived about 2 weeks after my LMP? I have regular periods(never missed one) that are anywhere from 31-34 days.

Any help or advice would be great! thank you!!

Gateway, it is important to know what gestational age she gave you - from LMP or from conception (ovulation).

The scans are normally very accurate up to 19 weeks. Did she give you a due date?

You will normally ovulate 14 days before your next period.

She gave me the GA from my lmp. She gave me a due date of March 24th when I was 8 weeks pregnant and still hasn't changed the due date. When I went a couple days ago she said the fetal measurments were measuring up exactly to the GA. My concern was by me having ultrasounds at 8 weeks, 10 weeks, 13 weeks and 18 weeks with no change of a due date, my conception date couldn't be off by two weeks later then the conception date she gave me, right?

If the GA os measured from your LMP the conception date can be 2 weeks off. You will typically ovulate 14 days before your next period and your ovulation date is considered to be the conception date. Sex in the week before ovulation got you pregnant.

ok....because my lmp was june 17th. I had sex on July 5th. Then I also had sex with someone else on July 19th, and then took a pregnancy test 9 hours after the July 19th intercourse. The test came back positive, there is no way for the july 19th guy to be the father, correct? That is my MAIN concern!!
Thank you
