I really don't know if this is related to my anxiety or not, but yesterday i was in the shower, and the night be for i had a fever of 102.2, but it was really hard to breath and every thing turned black and then i got really dizzy, then i felt fine. but about a minute, it happened agian but this time it was black for a while and i woke up and i was on the shower floor and it felt like i was going to throw up. I was really, really weak so i couldn't get up, so all i could really do was reach up and turn the shower off and crawl out of the shower and lay there intill i could move agian.

my friends and my mom thought that since i was breathing really fast that my blood couldn't get any air so i passed out...

but my friends dad said that i lacked iron...

and i don't know if its related to me being sick...or my anxiety...
i wanted to know if something like this has ever happened to soome one else...HELP!! IM STILL REALLY SCARED!!!

Fainting is caused by a temporary loss of oxygen to the brain. This can happen for a number of reasons. Stress and fear is one of them.

Were you in an anxious state when you were in the shower? Had you had anything to eat that day? Did you turn your neck quickly just before it happened?

Although fainting is a medical emergency, in most cases it's not serious. If you are under stress or anxiety, eliminating this will in turn eliminate repeated episodes.

If this does happen again my advice to you would be to see your doctor, he can do blood tests to rule out anything sinister that may be causing you to faint. This will also give you peace of mind.

Regards
