I have not had my period since I went off depo 4 months ago. I have read a lot of stories so I just figured it was normal for post depo no period and such, but a couple of nights ago I woke up with a pain shooting up my back almost paralyzing me and then it went away so I went back to sleep. I woke up in the morning and after I went to the bathroom when I wiped there was this huge glob of gelatin like mucus. I looked it up on the internet and it looked just like a mucus plug, but i have taken several pregnancy test and all negative. I guess my question is why would I be passing a mucus plug? (no smell, no itching, nothing, I feel completely normal).
