Q: Passing mucus and nausea

I have suffered from mucus (occasionally streaked with blood) for ten years to varying degrees.
Originally I had stomach pains and abdominal pains. An ulcer was ruled out through an endoscoptomy.
I was diagnosed with IBS four years ago after a barium enema and barium meal. My symptoms were pain in abdomin, mucus and frequent loose bowl movements.
Now I have near constant nausea, worse after eating. Pain in my stomach, at the top just before my rib cage. The mucus is bad again. Abdominal pains-but only a little worse than usual.
I'm not pregnant.
Any ideas? I am fed up and moody too-but I think that is more me than a symptom!

I would recommend a colonoscopy and stool testing. I'm not a doctor but these are the test I'm having done for somewhat similar symptoms. Definitely don't wait, get checked out. Take care Smile
