Q: Passing large painful stool

Feels like I am being split aprt. 9of 10 on pain scale. then two days with nothing. Next one just as big. No discoloration and no bleeding from anus. Any thoughts on this?

IT sounds as if you are constipated. I'd suggest that you look into a fibre supplement like psyllium husks or seeds --- these really help promote regularity.

mr_del do you take pain meds??? (tramadul-oxycodone-ect...??) That will make it really bad if you do.....i had surgery and they gave me stool softiner with my meds??? just a thought
