Q: Partial hysterectomy

Hi there, i am a 31 year old mother of four, and 5 weeks ago i had a partial hysterectomy, everything was going fine,i spotted for a couple of weeks after surgery nothing major, but then i finally went back to work at my local kindergarten on Monday the 4th May and on the tuesday i started getting pains in my tummy, (which i did not have after surgery), and now every time i go to the toilet and wipe there is a pinkish blood colour, is this normal im freaking!!!

They say that you will spot for up to eight weeks....If the pain continues I definitely would call your doctor, but it does take time for things to get back in order...Just be careful that you don't do too much as far as physical exercise....

I think you will be find, however, stay alert for heavy bleeding...I, too, bled off and on for a while......
