Hi there, I am Lyssie and I am 20 y/o. sunny
I started getting what my CAMHS psychiatrist said was psychotic symptoms at the age of 16 and went into a psychiatric hospital for 4 months when I was 17 because of serious self injury, people telling me to cut myself and things like that. I now see an adult psychiatrist and he said it's paranoid schizophrenia because I thought a man was following me and some other reasons but I can't remember. So Dr changed the medication from Amisulpride to Abilify. The man that was following me hasn't been following me since a couple of months now. Which is both strange and good at the same time.

The thing is that a friend is telling me I should tell my psychiatrist about the spirits that are in my body. Funnily enough I have an appointment with him tomorrow at 1:30. He said before that there is room to raise the meds as I am on 15mg. But do you think I should mention to him, I mean, is it anything to worry about??

My psychiatrist said that I also suffer from depersonalization. It's an unpleasant feeling. glance

Thank you for reading, I am glad to have found the forum,

Lyssie xx

Hi Lizzie.
yeah i would tell the psychistrist about the fact that you feel you have spirits in your body. The more you tell them, the more they can help you. Good luck hun. It's sounds like you're taking control of your situation. xo

Maybe you do
Have forces at work in your body beyond your control. I understand. But we all see it differently. It'd be nice if there were a conference that we could all go to to describe what we feel inside of us, or what some people see.

Some of it is "crazy" like paranoia, but some is not like our changing beliefs. and us changing as people.
