Hi,

I got my IUD (paragard) removed in mid August (after one year in) and had a very late period 6 weeks later (and light). I am usually very regular. I have been tracking my ovulation through charting and OPK and am not ovulating, and have absilutely no cervical mucus (I usually have normal). I am desperate to find out if anyone else has had this problem. I already have one older child and am trying for another. As I truned 40 last month I am really panicked by it all. I have always been regular and ovulated normally.

Thank you

Not ovulating
I am having exact symptoms as you. Please tell me, did you start ovulating? I have a 5 year old and trying to get pregnant. I have been taking digital ovulation test every day for 2 months since I had paragard removed and all have been neg and I am dry all the time... No cervical mucus.

I had mine out December 2012 after only a few months. My cycle was always 30 days apart. Its now an average of 43 days with one being 63 days. I am supposed to get my period next Friday based on average. I have not been ovulating and have not gotten pregnant despite unprotected sex with my husband. My doctor thinks it may be PCOS and I need to lose weight. I'm really angry as I never had abnormal periods before the Paragard.
