I just got the Paragard about 2 weeks ago. I had to switch due to issues with the birth control pill. This is my first IUD and I am 23 years old. I am concerned about the discharge I am getting. It's clear most of the time, but it has the consistency of snot. Sometimes there is blood or dried blood in it, which is reducing and I imagine it will stop soon. It doesn't smell bad in any way. Does anyone know if this discharge is normal? I also "feel" the IUD inside of me. If I sit a certain way on a chair, I can feel a pressure. It's rather odd. One more thing I'd like to ask about: How soon were you able to enjoy intimacy. My upper vagina feels a great deal of tension in it when attempting such. Thank you for your comments.
